About Elz

Elz graduated with a Diploma in Interior Design, in 2015 from East Coast TAFE, Sunshine Coast.

For the last 10 years, she has been involved with the styling and renovation projects of houses and units with an emphasis on modern kitchen & bathroom design and styling furniture and art for the home.

In addition to residential projects, Elz can provide interior design for commercial projects, assisting clients with colour schemes, fixture and finishes selections and joinery design with a focus on providing outstanding customer service. 

Inspiration for Studio 22 

The Stahl House (also known as Case Study House #22) is a modernist-styled house designed by architect Pierre Koenig in the Hollywood Hills section of Los Angeles, California

Built in 1959 as part of the Case Study Houses program, the house is considered an iconic representation of modern architecture in Los Angeles during the twentieth century. It was made famous by a Julius Shulman photograph showing two women leisurely sitting in a corner of the house with an eventide panoramic view of the city through floor-to-ceiling glass walls. The house was used in numerous fashion shoots, films, and advertising campaigns.

Elz was lucky enough to visit the Stahl House in 2014.
